End of 1st Trimester

So I saw Dr. Kauffman on 06-15-10....my 3rd OB appt so far. I gained 4# since my last visit (guess I need to eat better and exercise more!) and have grown a lot. I was 14 weeks and 5 days the day I had my appt, but my uterus was measuring almost 17 weeks!! OOPS!! Guess the ole uterus doesn't hold its tone so well on the 3rd baby...stretches a little quicker and a lot easier. The baby's heartbeat was lower this time at 144 bpm. I am still convinced I know the sex of this baby, but will keep my opinions to myself so as to not ruin everyone else's suspense. I am pleased to announce that we scheduled our 18 week sono.....July 8th is THE day when I get to find out if this little peanut inside of me is a boy or a girl!! Emma is really excited. I think Tanner is finally getting the excitement bug as well. The other day I came home from clinicals and he ran to me and tickled my belly. That's the first time he's ever shown an interest in my pregnancy. Then on Friday, I was getting ready for clinicals and my sweet little man walked up to me, wrapped his arms around me, and rested his head on my belly and said "mommy you look beautiful." How those words melted my heart!! I felt on top of the world at that moment!!

I am looking forward to finding out this baby's gender, but to feeling those amazing movements more! I think I have felt a few here and there, but definitely nothing on a regular basis. Still looking for everyone's vote on whether Peanut is a boy or a girl!!

I have been feeling better overall...WooHoo!!! Tonight, I had the pleasure of getting in a pool and exercising. It felt amazing to exercise and to NOT feel soooo heavy. I loved it! I hope I can make a habit of it for the remainder of the summer.
