Okay so I totally slacked off last month with my post!! Soooo sorry!! I am enjoying my break from school before starting a crazy semester that will include the birth of my 3rd child!! I am so excited for all that is to come.
I saw Dr. Kauffman today...we are 22 weeks and 5 days today. I am measuring 24 weeks, which is okay since it is my 3rd baby. I have gained a little more weight than I care to at this point...guess I will have to be more cognizant of my food intake from here on out! We found out last month that Peanut is a GIRL!!! We are so excited. Coming up with a name for her has been a frustrating endeavor. Kevin is not real cooperative, but we have managed to narrow the list down to 2 names. Not even going to consider finding a middle name until we make the final decision on the first name!
She is a VERY ACTIVE little girl....moving around a lot. I can never get enough of feeling her kicks, punches, rolls, and movements. She makes the doctor's office work to find her heartbeat at my appointments. Today her heart rate was 150...she runs on the upper end of normal usually. So ornery!! I often wonder how big she will be when she is born and if she will look more like Emma or Tanner or just have her own unique look.
I had my a TSH drawn today to check my thyroid functioning...I have been overly tired and having some other issues, but overall...I feel great. I am enjoying each day of this pregnancy (at least I'm trying to) as I am sure this will be the last one. The contractions are still present, but luckily nothing regular or excessive. I tell myself that my uterus is "just practicing" for the big day...hopefully, that won't be until 36-38 weeks. My next appt is in 4 weeks and I will get to do the lovely (and tasty) glucose screening.
I promise I will post pics before I start back to school (aug. 23rd). I know I have been saying that, but I will!! Guess I should get off of here. I will try to post more frequently. I hope everyone had a great summer...ours went really fast. I am very ready for the kids to go back to school. They start next week. Until the next blog...take care and God Bless!!
