I had my 2nd OB appt today! Wasn't sure if we would be able to hear the heartbeat or not due to the fact I am only 10w5d by my period, but sure enough.....peanut was going strong at 162 beats per minute!! My uterus is measuring slightly bigger at 12 weeks! Maybe I will have an average sized baby this time!! Too early to tell.
I am ready to welcome the 2nd trimester here in a couple of weeks. The nausea and vomiting business is getting old! I have been fortunate enough to get in some extra sleep. Somehow I feel like I can never get enough of that! I seriously need to get my photos posted. I already have a very prominent "baby bump." We took pics last week around the 10 week mark. Any suggestions on how often we should take those pics??
Also....still struggling with name ideas...I know its early, but if you know my husband you all know the reasons we start discussing this topic this early. LOL!! Dr. K said that he would have me schedule my sono around the 18 week mark (which is approx. July 9th) and then we can hopefully find out what gender this baby is!! Any votes?? Emma is convinced this baby is girl. The other day she said it had to be a girl cuz brothers are irritating!! LOL!! Little does she know that sisters can be "irritating" too!!
I am grateful to God for blessing me with this sweet little baby growing inside of me!
